From 30th September 2013 until 5th October 2013 the management centre of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage organized the first World-Heritage-Week. This week closed with an exchange between the regions with the UNESCO World Heritage get-together in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The crown of this meeting was the award ceremony of the first Crystal for excellence for the conservation of the World Heritage area and its man-made landscape. The project “Conservation and revaluation of the natural and cultural site Natischerberg” got the first crystal. In second place, our project “Carbon footprint” was chosen by the jury out of 14 more projects.
